Does the Luno AIR Pro or AIR+FOAM Pro Vehicle Mattress fit my 4Runner?Updated a day ago

Luno’s AIR Pro and AIR+FOAM Pro Vehicle Mattresses are designed specifically for Toyota 4Runners from 2003 onward. 

Compatible 4Runner Configurations

4Runners with sliding cargo tray:

•  Fully compatible. The mattress is designed to fit over this configuration without issue.

4Runners without sliding cargo tray:

• Fully compatible. However, when the rear seats are folded down, some 4Runners may have a slope or uneven surface in the cargo area. The mattress will still fit comfortably, but we recommend leveling the area with blankets, pads, or a DIY platform for the best sleeping experience.

4Runners with 3rd row seating:

• Fully compatible. Be sure to select “4Runner (3rd Row Seats)” in the vehicle dropdown when placing your order.

Important note for 6th Gen 4Runners (2025 models):

• While our mattresses are compatible with the 6th Gen 4Runner, these models include a drop in the rear cargo area, so a sleeping platform is required to create a flat, comfortable surface beneath your mattress.

Q: My 4Runner without the cargo sliding tray does not have an even sleeping surface. Does the Luno's 4Runner Mattresses account for this?

When the rear seats are folded flat in 4Runners without the sliding tray, there is an angled portion at the bottom of the back of the seats that creates an uneven sleeping surface. The mattress does not account for this uneven surface, but will still fit comfortably. If you're worried about the slope, you can create a level surface in the cargo area by adding in blankets or creating a platform. Please note that some 4Runners may not have a sliding tray but still have a level surface area.

Q: I have custom storage built in the back of my 4Runner, will the mattress still fit?

Yes, if the storage solution creates a level sleeping surface then the mattress will fit.

Q: Why doesn’t the mattress fit earlier 4Runner models?

Earlier 4Runner models have short cargo areas and unique layouts that our current mattress offerings will not fit.

Q: Are 2010-2013 4Runners with the sliding tray compatible?

The mattress does not account for this uneven surface, but will still fit comfortably. If you're worried about the slope, you can create a level surface in the cargo area by adding in blankets or creating a platform.

Q: How can I level out the cargo space in my 4Runner that doesn’t have the sliding tray?

Some people opt to build their own platform out of wood. Others prefer to use a thicker blanket or foam pad to level out the rear cargo surface.
