How to Set up Your String Lights

  1. Remove lights from the storage pouch.
  2. Place the suction cups on your vehicle’s windows to arrange the string lights as you’d like (if camping in a vehicle).
    1. If you are tent camping, feel free to hang the string lights by draping them along any tent poles, loops, etc.
  3. Ensure that the string lights are plugged into the battery pack. The storage pouch contains a sleeve to snuggly and safely store the battery pack!
  4. Turn on the lights by pressing the power button (the lowest button on the 3-button control panel).
    1. To change the mode, press the middle button that looks like sliding controls.
    2. To change the brightness, press the top button that looks like a half circle.
  5. Tada! You’ve achieved peak coziness.

Pro Tip: The included storage pouch doubles as a lantern thanks to a translucent front panel! Just turn on the lights while they’re in the pouch and enjoy the gentle glow. The pouch sports a loop for hanging on hooks and branches and an integrated magnet to attach to your vehicle, too. Our advice? Try the twinkling settings when the lights are in lantern mode–it reminds us of fireflies fluttering in a jar.

Battery Life

The string lights run off of a USB-C cable, and they come with an included rechargeable lithium battery pack. The included battery pack provides up to eight hours of runtime.

To charge the included battery, plug it in directly into a wall outlet.

Note: If you also have a Luno Camping Fan, we do not recommend using the string light’s included power bank to power your fan. Our Camping Fan requires a lot more power and it will quickly drain the string light battery pack.

Care Instructions

While every Luno accessory is designed to handle bumps in the road, packing your string lights with care can help extend its lifespan. This is mostly just common sense: avoid packing it underneath heavy objects, try not to drop the battery pack, etc.

Do not machine wash the included pouch. If it gets a bit dirty during your adventures, simply wipe it with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
