Gear Tote | 50L (Upcycled)Updated 7 months ago

Upcycled from retired Luno Mattresses, the Gear Tote 50L is a heavy-duty storage solution for campers who like to tread lightly on the planet. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure this gear hauler is in it for the long haul.

How To Set Up Your Gear Tote 50L

The Gear Tote 50L is easy to use. Just pop it open, pack it full of anything from gear to groceries, grab the webbing strap handles, and chuck it in your trunk.

How To Fold The Gear Tote 50L

If you look closely, you’ll notice the Gear Tote is decorated with an intentional stitching pattern. This is the beautiful handiwork of Tailgate Industries, our neighbor in Bend, Oregon, who’s responsible for much of our upcycled product line–and it’s there for a reason. Just fold the Gear Tote 50L along those seams, and it’ll collapse into a packable pancake, making it easy to store in a crowded gear closet or overflowing trunk.

How To Clean The Gear Tote 50L

Dirt? Mud? A spilled jar of jelly? Don’t fear–the Gear Tote 50L is built for life on the backroads. Crafted from the same 300-denier Oxford nylon as our award-winning mattresses, it cleans up quicker than a lovestruck cowboy before a Friday night hoedown.

  • For minor dirt, dust, and mud, hit it with a damp cloth.
  • For major dirt, dust, mud, and manageable mystery substances, dunk it in a lake or river if you’re on the road. If you’re at home, grab the hose and set it to max power. Or, if you don’t have a suitable outdoor cleaning area, bust out the rubber duckies and give the Gear Tote 50L a bath.
  • For pesky stains, scrub it down with Formula 409®, BioClean™ All-Purpose Cleaner, or another general household cleaner.
  • Whatever you do, avoid using household cleaners that contain bleach, as they can stain the fabric.
  • Always let the Gear Tote 50L dry before storage.
